This project aims to assess how people process conflict in real-life relationships.

First, both you and your partner will need to provide informed consent to participate in the study by following the link provided. Participation then commences when either you or your partner feels in some way wronged by the other. The wronged partner will log onto a website and fill in a survey about the event. The wronged partner will also provide some details to prompt the partner about the event, who will then be asked to complete a survey about this. You will each, individually, fill in a survey every 2 days, totalling 4 surveys. The surveys will ask about your thoughts and feelings regarding the event, and about your partner and yourself.

Participant benefits:

Each partner will be reimbursed with $40 for their participation ($80 per couple), to be collected in person from the UQ School of Psychology, St Lucia campus.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this study, you need to currently be in a relationship, and your partner must also willing to participate.

You will need to be able to travel to the UQ St Lucia campus to collect your payment.
