This study aims to improve Hearing Service Program clients’ understanding of the program and services available.

Participants will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire and participate in an interview via Zoom and/or one-off workshop with other participants held at The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Queensland.

Eligibility 

If you are an adult over 60 years of age and have used government-funded hearing services (tests, hearing aids, etc),

Or if you are a family member of an adult over 60 years of age who has used government-funded hearing services (tests, hearing aids, etc),

Or if you are a parent of a child with hearing loss (4 years old and younger) who has used government-funded hearing services,

Or if you are 18-25 years old and used government-funded hearing services,

And you:

  • Are proficient in the English language
  • Can attend a 3-hour workshop at the University of Queensland

Participant benefits 

Each participant will receive $100 gift voucher for each 1.5-hour interview and $200 gift voucher for a 3-hour workshop.
