The study aims to evaluate the effects of self-evaluation framework on the learning outcomes of a professional training course in the evidence-based Triple P Positive Parenting Program.

The entire experiment lasts about 90 minutes. You will be involved in 1) completing a short questionnaire and 2) acting out a clinical scenario prior to and immediately following a 3) brief online training session of the evidence-based parenting program Triple P.

Eligibility 

  1. Second/third year students majoring in humanities, social sciences or health
  2. Interest in children's development

  1. Learn the skills necessary to assist parents in handling their children’s misbehaviour
  2. Gain a better understanding of evidence-based parenting interventions
  3. Learn the foundational principles of the Triple P Positive Parenting Program (one of the most widely used and researched parenting programs in the world)

To express our appreciation, you will be reimbursed $20 for your time. Participation timings are flexible and online over Zoom. (That’s right, simply find an hour out of your busy schedule and we’ll strive to accommodate to your request!)
