Researchers at The University of Queensland are seeking volunteers to help us learn/better understand whether memory, language and other cognitive abilities are potentially related to oral health in clinical disorders.

In order to better understand any relationships we identify, we also need to assess a non-clinical comparison group. Prior to the session, participants will be screened for eligibility through a short telephone interview. If you are eligible to participate, you will be invited to complete a single testing session of approximately three hours duration. During the session, you will be asked to complete paper-based and computerized measures of memory and other cognitive abilities as well as a brief oral health assessment.

You'll receive:

Participants will receive a $60 Coles/Myer Gift Card for participation in the study.

Eligibility:

  • Aged 45-60 years of age
  • No major clinical illness, or any history of neurological symptoms or major psychiatric illness
  • A native English speaker, or have a high level of English proficiency.
