All Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery students are required to complete the NHHI Modules. Allied Health students attending Queensland Health placements are required to complete these modules as outlined on the Record of allied health student training form. NOTE: Not required for Dentistry students.

Step 1:

The following two modules can be accessed by logging into the National Hand Hygiene Initiative. Please complete:

  1. Hand hygiene for clinical healthcare workers 
  2. Basics of infection prevention and control orientation 

Instructions on how to register for these two modules (PDF 501 kB)

Step 2:

Download your certificates of completion and combine these into a single file.

Step 3:

Upload the combined file to the attribute 'UQ - Evidence of NHHI module completion' in InPlace.
