As a health student, you will undertake clinical and/or industry placements throughout your program.
There are a range of placement requirements that you are required to meet before you go on placement. As a professional-in-training, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are placement ready. Many of these requirements are documents that you will need to renew for the rest of your career, so this is the first step in your journey to becoming a health care professional.
Important
Failure to submit all of the required documents by the due date will mean that you won’t be able to attend your placement. This will significantly impact on your ability to progress through your program.
What do I need to do?
There is a lot to do so you should allow yourself plenty of time to complete these tasks. Some of them can require up to three months lead time so you will need to be well organised and methodical. The requirements you will need to complete prior to attending your placement will vary depending on your discipline and the placement site. Refer to the links below and review your discipline's pre-placement requirements.
