Program Officers are also available to assist students in person. The Faculty office is located on Level 4 of the Social Sciences Building (#24), Campbell Rd, St Lucia and is open between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Credit for previous study
If you have completed previous studies, you may be eligible for credit towards a UQ program. Go to the Credit Precedence Database to find out if you might qualify.
Student Services offer a wide range of programs and services which can assist you with the transition to University and help you to achieve success in your studies, including support for students with Disabilities, Accommodation help, Counselling, Learning (including skills workshops), International Support, Mates@UQ, Multi-Faith Chaplaincy and New2UQ assistance.
Get ready for clinical placements – make sure you’ve had all the relevant immunisations, you have a ‘Blue card’ (working with children police check), you’ve done your First Aid & CPR certification, you’ve got your Queensland Health orientation checklist and deeds, and you’ve signed the confidentiality statement. Check the program requirements of your course to learn more about these important preparations.

Indigenous student services
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit provides a range of professional services and academic support for indigenous students on campus.
