If you’ve ever had a long-term medical condition, or you’re close to someone who has, you’ll know that the question at the top of your mind is “when will I get better”? And that the answer is often not a satisfying one.
So why are medicos often so bad at giving us a straight answer to this question – and how could they respond better?
