Staff from the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences celebrated the achievements of colleagues across academic and professional areas at the 2024 HaBS Staff awards.

Faculty Executive Dean Professor Louise Hickson AM commended the work of all staff who contributed to the success of the Faculty over the past 11 years.

“Whether you have been part of the Faculty since its inception, or have joined more recently, your efforts have contributed to a rich catalogue of achievements we can all be immensely proud of,” Professor Hickson said.

“We’ve celebrated many milestones this year, including our staff being recognised for a variety of external and internal awards.

“We scooped the pools in the UQ Teaching and Learning awards and have also seen great success in numerous competitive research funding rounds which enables our research impact to continue to grow.

“The Staff Awards are a fantastic opportunity to come together, recognise and celebrate the achievements and contributions of the high-performing individuals and teams we work with each day.

“The innovation, leadership and creativity demonstrated by our colleagues through these awards highlights the outstanding work being done.”
