HaBS Intro to Postdocs Information Session

Not sure what a postdoc is? Wondering how people get them? This virtual session will help answer the ‘what,’ ‘why’ and ‘how’ questions you might have about postdocs (Postdoctoral Research Fellowships) and discuss the different postdoc pathways available.

Presented by Professor Greg Monteith, Associate Dean (Research) for HaBS, this session is tailored to HDR students and ECAs in HaBS but all are welcome to attend, including current postdocs. Three postdocs from HaBS who followed different postdoc pathways (NHMRC Investigator Grant, ARC DECRA, and employed on a philanthropic donation) will also share their journeys from HDR student to postdoc.
