Not sure how to apply for a postdoc fellowship?

This session will help answer the ‘what,’ ‘why’ and ‘how’ questions you might have about postdocs (postdoctoral research fellowships) and discuss the different postdoc pathways available.

Presented by Professor Christina Lee, Associate Dean (Research) in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences (HaBS), this session is tailored to HDR students in HaBS but all are welcome to attend. Three postdocs from HaBS who hold an ARC or NHMRC fellowship, or are employed on a research grant, will share their HDR student to postdoc journeys.

The session will be split into two sub-sessions with a chance to network over afternoon tea. The program for the session will be -

  • 1:30pm to 2:30pm - Introduction and overview of applying for a postdoc - Prof Christina Lee (Associate Dean Research for HaBS) followed by questions
  • 2:30pm to 3:00pm - Afternoon tea and networking
  • 3:00pm to 4:00pm - Presentations from three current postdocs on their journeys and experiences, followed by questions and discussion

Please register by Monday, 10 June.
