I-CEPS International Congress on Evidence-based Parenting Support
The International Congress on Evidence-based Parenting Support (I-CEPS) is an international event on a universal topic – parenting.
More than 55 countries will be represented through the mix of keynote presentations, symposia and more, at the three-day online event, from 6-8 June. Programs will run across four time zones so borders will be no barrier to being part of the Congress, which aims to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and promote the use of evidence-based practices in parenting support.
Register now to attend the Congress and hear from high-profile keynote speakers including Professor Matt Sanders from UQ's Parenting Family and Support Centre and Founder of the Triple P Positive Parenting Program and Carolyn Webster-Stratton from the US, who developed The Incredible Years program – delivered in more than 24 countries. Invited speakers include Sheila Manji, a childhood development specialist at the World Health Organisation, who has worked to encourage global collaboration to ensure access to quality early education programs.
Other presentations will cover diverse topics spanning the globe, including research about childhood development in rural Burkina Faso, an investigation into interventions to address depression in Pakistani fathers, an Israeli study into adapting parenting programs for diverse cultural groups, and the results of an investigation into the effectiveness of parental education during home visits in Brazil.
