Doctor of Dental Medicine (Day 1)

Welcome to the School of Dentistry

It is compulsory that all students attend the School of Dentistry in-person orientation during orientation week (17-21 February) as an introduction to the DMD program and the School, meet other new students and familiarise themselves with the Herston campus.

After the orientation session join the School of Dentistry for a relaxed evening at the DMD social mixer. It's a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow students and staff and build connections.

Program:

Orientation Session	9:30am* – 4:00pm Room 4311 & Lecture Auditorium (4401), Oral Health Centre
Social Mixer	4:00pm – 6:00pm Cafe Dose, Oral Health Centre

*Please note that the start time will be confirmed closer to the orientation week

About HMBS Orientation

Orientation Week (O-Week) is a program of social and academic activities designed to introduce students to life and study at UQ.

In addition to your program orientation session, be sure to also register for a faculty orientation session, to ensure you have all the right information and tools you need to succeed at UQ. It will also be a great opportunity to meet some like-minded students from throughout Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences, and understand how the faculty can support you in your journey.
