Interprofessional Education

Our health students have opportunities throughout their program to learn with, from and about their fellow students in different programs across the Faculty.

Providing you with IPE opportunities will enhance your appreciation of how your professions can work more closely together to provide safe and excellent client-centred practice.

Your journey will start in your first year in HLTH1000: Professions, People and Healthcare and then, throughout your programs, you will have opportunity to participate in a range of IPE learning activities at UQ campuses and placement sites.

Our HaBS faculty-based Interprofessional Education Curriculum Committee is dedicated to developing a strong, evidence-based curriculum, and learning activities, to ensure our students graduate with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to engage in interprofessional practice upon graduation
