Interprofessional Education

Our health students have opportunities throughout their program to learn with, from and about their fellow students in different programs across the Faculty.

Interprofessional education (IPE) occurs when two or more students from different health professions learn with, from and about each other.

Providing you with IPE opportunities will enhance your appreciation of how your professions can work more closely together to provide safe and good client-centred practice.

Your journey will start in your first year in HTLH1000; Professions, People and healthcare and then, throughout your programs, you will have opportunity to participate in a range of IPE learning activities at UQ campuses and placement sites.
