UQ researchers named among the world’s most influential

UQ researchers named among the world’s most influentialTwenty-seven University of Queensland researchers have been named in a prestigious 2018 Highly Cited Researchers List – with one featuring in two categories.

Now in its fifth year, the Clarivate Analytics analysis identifies influential researchers as determined by their global peers – those who have consistently won recognition in the form of high citation counts over a decade.  

UQ Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Bronwyn Harch congratulated the highly cited researchers.

“This result underscores the value and impact of the University’s research, and it affirms that UQ continues to make its mark among the world’s best.”

More than 240 Australian-based researchers made the list, with UQ recording the second highest number of researchers in Australian universities.

Professor Roy Baumeister from UQ's School of Psychology was featured on the list.
