UQ's Professor Matt Sanders AO featured on ABC Radio Brisbane about parenting, Triple P and retiring from his role as the Director of UQ's Parenting and Family Support Centre.
"It all started in Auckland. I did my very first work on what we now call Triple P in in South Auckland and in New Zealand, but I came over to Australia in 1979 to join the psychiatry department in the middle school at UQ," Professor Sanders said.
"For 16 years I taught human development and behavioural medicine and then moved over to UQ's School of Psychology where I graduated with my PhD from and started UQ's Parenting and Family Support Centre."
