What is a Student Immunisation Record?

For your own safety and the safety of your clients you are required to demonstrate immunity to vaccine preventable diseases before you commence your placement. Students who are not fully immunised put themselves, clients and placement providers at risk through potential contamination or spreading of infection and diseases. You will not be able to attend your placement until your immunisation record has been verified and approved by the UQ Immunisation Record Team.

To demonstrate your immunity, you are required to submit a Student Immunisation Record that has been completed by your registered General Medical Practitioner (GP).  The type of record you will need to complete will depend on the program you are enrolled in.  See video and instructions below for further information.
