What is an AHPRA Registration?

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to ensure the community has access to a safe health workforce across all professions registered under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme. AHPRA’s role is to protect the public and set standards and policies that all registered health practitioners must meet.

The following information applies to all postgraduate students in the programs listed in the table below who are required to hold AHPRA registration while participating in Work Integrated Learning/Placements in their discipline area.

Undergraduate students are not required to apply for AHPRA registration as this is arranged on their behalf by the HaBS Faculty.

You can view your registration status at any time by checking the Register of Practitioners
