The annual UQ Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences Staff Awards celebrated the exemplary work of academic, research and professional staff with an impressive 30 award recipients for 2019.
The ceremony was presented by Faculty Executive Dean Professor Bruce Abernethy, Associate Dean (Research) Professor Christina Lee, Associate Dean (Academic) Professor Sarah Roberts-Thomson and Faculty Executive Manager, Tricia Williams.
Executive Dean Professor Bruce Abernethy said the awards acknowledge the dedication and passion staff have for their work.
“I would like to congratulate all the worthy recipients.
“I was in awe with the wide-range of contributions staff have made in their pursuit of excellence across the academic, research and professional areas.
“It is the collegial and collaborative spirit that characterises this Faculty, so I encourage staff to continue participating in the awards as we know there are many staff who go above and beyond in their roles every day.”
