All nominations within this Award category will be reviewed by the Award Selection Committee, comprising representatives from Faculty Management and HaBS Schools/Centres. The Committee will refer its recommendations to the Executive Dean for final approval.

An Individual or Team will receive an award equivalent to a monetary amount. Award winners may elect to receive their Award prize either as:

• a one-off salary payment, or:
• credit toward professional development (seminars, conferences, training courses and/or journal subscriptions).

Please note that the Award prize must be collected (salary payment) or used (professional development) within 12 months of receipt of the Award, unless otherwise approved. Relevant taxation and superannuation arrangements will apply to one-off salary payments.

Expenditure is subject to standard University policy and must be authorised by the Head of School or senior financial delegate.

The HaBS Research Awards are granted on the condition that all monies are used to enhance research. Discretionary project funds will be paid at the beginning of the calendar year immediately following receipt of the Award.

All nominations within this Award category will be reviewed by the Award Selection Committee, comprising representatives from the HaBS Teaching and Learning Committee, ITaLI/Faculty and a past recipient of a Faculty Teaching Award. The Committee will refer its recommendations to the Executive Dean for final approval.

The Award winner/s will be announced at the HaBS Staff Awards 2023, to be held on Thursday 23 November.

The HaBS Teaching and Learning Awards are granted on the condition that all monies are used to enhance the career of the recipient with emphasis on their career. Discretionary project funds will be paid at the beginning of the calendar year immediately following receipt of the Award.
