Join Queensland's Chief Scientist and President of Friends of Oxley Creek Common, Professor Hugh Possingham, for an intergenerational bird walk to celebrate the intergenerational sharing of knowledge and love for birds.
Professor Possingham will offer tips on bird identification, planting bird friendly gardens, and how to join in to help protect Brisbane's important bird habitats.
The leisurely, flat stroll will go for approximately 2.5 hours, from the Red Shed, Oxley Creek Common to Pelican Lagoon and back. Upon returning to the Red Shed, you'll be able to share in tea and coffee by gold coin donation.
Come along for a great morning with the birds!
What to bring
