Exploring the lived experiences, preparation, and support needs of occupational therapy students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
This research is about understanding the lived experiences and support needs of occupational therapy students from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds participating in high-fidelity simulation-based learning activities.
High-fidelity simulation is a teaching method that uses simulated patients to help students practice their skills in a safe environment before working with real patients. The insights gained from this research will help improve educational practices and create better support systems for students from diverse backgrounds in simulation.
