The purpose of this study is to explore physiotherapy education in Australia from the perspective of Muslim women who are physiotherapy students.

It aims to understand how physiotherapy training is perceived by students who are Muslim women and what this might imply for access to the profession.

Participants will be interviewed by an experienced researcher via conferencing software at a time convenient to you. The interview will take about 1 hour, and will be a series of open questions asked in a conversational manner, to ensure that you will have ample opportunities to share your views.

With your permission, the interview will be audio-recorded, but the recording will be de-identified to ensure confidentially.

Eligibility 

Muslim women who are over 18 years old and are current or recent (within 5 years) physiotherapy student in Australia.
