This study is trying to understand the experiences of teenagers with hearing loss and their social activities.

When teenagers move from primary school to high school, they may feel they are alone and away from others with no hearing loss. Therefore, this study aims to:

  • Explore how we can reduce the feeling of being alone in teenagers with hearing loss
  • Find a way to decrease the feeling of being alone in teenagers with hearing loss.

If you decide to participate in this study, we invite you to an online interview at time convenient to you. The interview will take approximately 60 minutes.

Eligibility 

  1. High school students with hearing loss in Australia (age 12-17)
  2. Parents of high school students with hearing loss living in Australia
  3. Professionals who provide services to high school students with hearing loss in Australia
