Osgood Schlatter Disease is a type of pain at the front of the knee that occurs in children and adolescents.

There is little known about Osgood Schlatter Disease, so UQ researchers are conducting research to better understand this condition.

Participation in this study involves attending an appointment for an assessment of your knee and completing an online questionnaire. At the appointment, a health professional will diagnosis your knee pain and measures your muscle strength and flexibility.

Parking and appointments in this study will be provided free of charge.

Eligibility

We are looking for participants who:

  • Are between the ages of 8-18 years old
  • Participate in at least one sport regularly (such as one training session and/or competition per week in the sporting season)

It is okay if you do not know if the pain at the front of your knee is Osgood Schlatter Disease, a physiotherapist will assess you to determine the reason for your knee pain.
