Social cognitive factors and their potential role in chronic pain management in people with chronic non-cancer pain

The aim of this study is to examine the potential social cognitive factors associated with pain management.

Individuals 18 years or older with a diagnosed chronic pain condition will be asked to fill out a short online questionnaire about their thoughts and emotions associated with pain and medication management.

Participation in this study will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

It is expected that the findings will be used to identify possible modifiable factors that could be targeted as part of new psychological treatments.

Eligibility 

Individuals must be:

  1. Aged 18 and over,
  2. Live in Australia and;
  3. Have a current diagnosis of chronic pain.

Participant benefits
