Did you know that up to 90% of people in residential aged care communities have hearing problems, while 50% have trouble seeing?

We wish to break down the barriers to hearing and vision care utilisation in aged care communities by understanding those factors that influence it.

To achieve our aim, we want to interview (i) Residents (ii) Family members and (iii) aged care staff

Join us in making a difference by participating in one or two online/ telephone interviews.

Eligibility

 Who can participate:

  1. Residents with hearing or vision loss
  2. Family members of residents with hearing or vision problems
  3. Aged care staff (including personal care workers, nurses, allied health professionals, lifestyle service officers and managers)

Participant benefits

Participants will be offered a gift card of $25 for participating in an interview.
