The University of Queensland Physiotherapy department is running a project that involves assessing muscle strength, movement and balance in athletes who have sprained their ankle.

The goal of this project is to determine the key problems experienced after an ankle sprain, and how to best assess and treat them.

Eligibility 

We are looking for children and adolescents over 8 years of age and adults who have who have sprained their ankle in the last week to participate in this project.

Participant benefits

We are offering individuals who have sprained their ankle a free initial assessment and up to three free treatment sessions with a physiotherapist. Assessment and treatment sessions will be at the UQ Sport and Exercise Injury, Participation and Performance Clinic (UQ-SPRINT) in St. Lucia.
