Improving Outcomes for Women with Epilepsy: Perimenopause and Beyond

We are inviting women with epilepsy aged 40 years and above to take part in the WELL Study.

We are interested in understanding more about the following topics:

1. The effect of hormones on seizures
2. Bone Health
3. Memory and Cognition
4. Quality of Life

The study is being conducted by the University of Queensland and involves the collection of your data over different time points in your life (once a year).

Eligibility

To be eligible for the study you much be:

• A woman with epilepsy (inclusive of cis and transgender females)
• Aged 40 years and above

Additionally, you must provide the following:

• Documentation confirming your epilepsy
• Written, informed consent
