Short Survey: What are the barriers to taking part in aged care research?

Research is key to improving access to health services, yet participation in aged care research is often limited.

We aim to learn what influences whether people take part in research within residential aged care in Australia.

The research involves a 2-part anonymous survey (10-15 minutes):

  1. Information about you (and your family member if applicable) e.g. gender, education, living situation, hearing/vision/dementia history.
  2. Factors that influence your participation in aged care research.

Eligibility

We are only seeking responses from people who are:

  • Residential aged care staff (e.g., managers, nurses, allied health professionals),
  • Residents in aged care; or
  • Family members of aged care residents.
