We are investigating the effect of foot orthotics on pain and symptoms in people with ankle arthritis.

Participation in this study involves attending an appointment with a physiotherapist for an an assessment of your ankle, having an x-ray of your ankle (if you have not had one), attending 1-2 physiotherapy appointments for prescription and fitting of foot orthotics, and completing a couple of online surveys about how your ankle is feeling.

Treatment appointment can occur at either The University of Queensland (St. Lucia, QLD) or Clem Jones Centre (Carina, QLD). You can choose the location that is most convenient for you. All assessments and treatments in this study are free.

Eligibility 

We are looking for people with ongoing ankle pain or ankle arthritis to participate in this study.

Participant benefits

Participants will receive a free initial assessment of their ankle with a physiotherapist, a free follow up physiotherapy appointment and two pairs of foot orthotics.
