Exploring the systemic structures that affect access to physiotherapy services for non-Indigenous Black people in Australia

The purpose of this study is to understand perceptions of physiotherapy amongst non-Indigenous Black people who live in Australia.

We are interested in improving Black people's engagement with physiotherapy.

If you agree to participate in the study, you will be interviewed by an experienced researcher via conferencing software at a time convenient to you. The interview will take about 1 hour. The interview will be a series of open questions asked in a conversational manner, to ensure that you will have ample opportunities to share your views. With your permission, the interview will be audio-recorded, but the recording will be de-identified to ensure confidentially.

Eligibility 

Anyone who is over 18 years old and identifies as a non-Indigenous Black person is eligible to participate in this study.
