Balance and muscle strength in active individuals who have had a previous ankle sprain
This study aims to investigate balance and ankle muscle strength in athletes who have previously sprained their ankle.
It will help physiotherapists provide injury prevention advice to athletes with previous ankle sprains.
Participation in the study involves:
- Completion of a short survey (5 minutes)
- Attendance at a balance and muscle strength testing session (20-30 minutes)
Eligibility
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
• Play a court or field sport at least once a week during the sporting season
• Have had at least one previous ankle sprain, but no ankle sprain in the last 3 months
