The research aims to understand the cognitive mechanisms that subserve social connection, how these components change as we age into older adulthood, and their potential relationships with autism. 

Participation in our study is up to two hours on campus at The University of Queensland, St Lucia.

You can expect to complete some computerised and pen-and-paper cognition assessments, as well as some self-report surveys. 

Eligibility 

To be eligible for our study, you must be:

  • 18-35 years of age or 65 years of age or older
  • Have normal or corrected-to-normal (e.g. with glasses) vision
  • Be either a native English speaker or have high English proficiency.
