This study is investigating the experiences of parents/caregivers and family members of children with IgE-mediated food allergies who also have feeding behaviours. It also takes into the account the impact of these behaviours on the wider family.

The study will explore:

  • The concerns, issues and care needs, parents of children with food allergies and feeding behaviours have
  • What kind of help is available for them and;
  • What might be missing in the current support networks for these families.

Participants will be asked to complete a 30 minute semi-structured interview via zoom at a mutually agreeable time. These interviews are designed to gather information regarding your experience with managing your child’s food allergy at home, your experience in managing any feeding behaviours and the supports you have received from the health service.
