The effect of targeted upper cervical musculoskeletal management on migraine headache
The study is a pilot trial of physiotherapy musculoskeletal management strategies directed at the upper neck to determine the effect on headache frequency and global perceived effect.
The study will involve four treatment sessions delivered by a physiotherapist with extensive experience in managing headache and neck pain.
Eligibility
Adults 18-65 years with a history of regular (at least 2-3 per month) migraine headache combined with neck pain and a restriction of neck movement.
Participant benefits
Eligible participants will receive four free treatment sessions at a physiotherapy practice in West End, Brisbane, Queensland.
