The objective of this interview study is to investigate psychological characteristics of participants in response to a diagnosis of melanoma in situ.

It will examine variations in psychological status based on key personal characteristics, and identify factors that motivate coping strategies to facilitate the management of stressors and promote psychological well-being.

Eligibility 

  • Age 18 years or older;
  • Has a confirmed diagnosis of melanoma in situ;
  • Was diagnosed within the previous 12 months;
  • Is able to communicate sufficiently in English to participate in an interview and verbally express thoughts and ideas without the need of an interpreter;
  • Signed Informed Consent Form.
