This project explores the facilitators and barriers to early injury detection and prevention in runners.

We are inviting runners of all experience levels to participate in an online group discussion as part of our UQ Running Injury Prevention Project.

What’s Involved?

  1. Online survey (~20 minutes) about your injury prevention strategies and experiences
  2. Focus group discussion (~80–90 minutes, online) to explore how runners manage pain, discomfort, and injuries

Your insights will help develop better injury prevention strategies for runners. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will remain anonymous.

Eligibility

  • Aged 18 or older
  • Currently running in Australia
  • Any level of running experience (novice, recreational, experienced, competitive)
  • Any history of running injury (no injury, previous injury, currently injured)
