The “Australian Lung Screen Trial” (ALST) examines lung cancer screening in multiple cohorts, including those who currently lie outside of ‘standard’ eligibility criteria

  1. ALST Never Light Smokers
  2. ALST for people at risk of developing lung cancer living in a range of geographic and socioeconomic
  3. ALST for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples

Eligibility

  1. Current or former smoker 50-80 years

  2. People who have never smoked aged 55-74 years

  3. Aboriginal and Torres Strait lander people aged 50-80

  4. Participants should be generally well and willing to have a CT scan as part of the study.
